In Just Two Short Months We Transformed This Living Room Into An Immersive Cinematic Escape

ROOM STRIP OUT:

Our client had decided to convert this room ahead of our involvement on the project.

While undergoing some other remodelling work on their home they had the builder remove the fireplace, block the skylight, remove the existing flooring and block up a doorway into the kitchen.

The Room Visualised:

As always we started the design process working on the finished look and feel of the room.

Pricing three performance options for the project, which delivered the exact same look, but three performance options, our 'Essential, Standard and Reference' cinema offerings.

As we were completing the full refurbishment of this room we priced every element after the strip out.

level 2 was the clients choice:

Our level 2 system was selected due to the size of the room and the number of people accomodated this featured four subwoofers to deliver tight, dynamic, even bass accross all seat positions.

As usual we then set about planning the construction details for the project along with a detailed program of works.

geometric wall panelling:

One of the main features in the room was a custom designed acoustic wall panel with geometric pattern.

These floating panels were made off site and fabricated to go together perfectly, being framed with colour changing RGBW LED tape lighting.

A starry sky was also installed to deliver the stunning look that many love and associate with home cinemas.

FINSIHED ROOM COMPLETE:

In just two months the project was completed, calibrated and handed over.

AV Rack, Network, Cabling, Seating, Acoustic Panels, carpet and lighting.

Final Costs for the project as seen from start to finsh was just under £120,000.
