TIRED GAMES ROOM GETS C&C TOUCH
With Interactive Lighting Which Sees and Hears What's Happening in the Room, See What Happens!

DYNAMIC INTERACTIVE LED LIGHTING:
This project was one of my favourites from 2022!
It's always nice to be challenged with something a little different.
You cannot argue that this cinema shows something never seen before.
DEFINING THE ROOM:
After seeing a post we made on a new project the client contacted me and asked whether we could incorporate this new lighting technology into his cinema space.
With work already underway we set about creating new visuals for the room in order to agree the finished look and feel.
ANOTHER LEVEL 2 SYSTEM:
Our level 2 system was selected for this room as it delivered reference performance beyond the first row of seating.
As usual in our larger rooms four subwoofers were used to create tight even bass response accross all seats.
Changes to the construction drawings were made after revised visuals and change orders were agreed and the fun commenced.
VIDEO WITH LIGHT:
Custom columns were prefrabricated off site with a stretched fabric print design, behind the fabric we had open cell broad pitch LED, similar to what you see in large outdoor video wall installations.
With the LED being open cell this enabled us to have acoustic treatment and speakers hidden behind the columns.
A high powered computer connects to the video and audio in the room and 'looks and listens' to what is being wacthed.
Different modes can be set to decide how the lighting reacts...
FINSIHED ROOM COMPLETE:
After two months the room was complete with the family blown away with the end result.

Lutron RA2 Lighting Control
AV Rack, Network, Cabling, Seating, Acoustic Panels, carpet and lighting.
Final Costs for the project as seen from start to finsh was just under £120,000.
